Faena Hotel Miami Beach

Beautiful property! Dining options, beach access, and staff are exceptional. Would like one change only, an after dinner lounge / comfortable bar for your guest without reservations. We stood for 20 minutes to enter the bar area. Upon our entry we were told we could not sit on any of the many empty chairs and sofas until staff could check if available. Again waited another 10 plus minutes. Gave up and left.

We are Marriott Platinum members, so when we stay at a hotel not in that group we really expect a lot. Faena exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful hotel, but what really sets it apart is the staff. Ophelia (GEM) helped plan our trip before we arrived. Daniel (Server at Los Fuegos) worked hard to make our dinners enjoyable. Ronnie (Pool attendant) always had a smile and kept us in the shade. Luen (Pool Server) helped guide our decisions in food and drink. Nata (Server at Pau) helped navigate us from a menu we were unfamiliar with. I am sure there are others, but these were exceptional. Keep up the good work, we will be back.

The hotel generously upgraded me three levels to a junior king suite with a partial ocean view (Room 413). This gesture made a powerful first impression on me and greatly enhanced the pleasure of my stay. I liked the boutique scale and eclectic decoration of the property that distinguished Faena from the less interesting, larger, corporate-feeling properties that I passed. I liked the hotel's proximity to the beach and the intimate scale of the pool.

It’s a wonderful hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the hotel is very well decorated and maintained. The only complaint I have is the Wi-Fi signal that was very poor. Other than than that, I had a great experience.
